After five modules, interested Broadcast Performing Arts students may be provided the opportunity to supplement their education with specific experience in television broadcasting.

Participation is limited to students who have excellent writing skills, strong vocal ability, and have a high commitment to their education. 

These students must be punctual, have a strong independent work ethic, and demonstrated positive time-management skills.

The Broadcast Television Component is comprised of a series of lectures, workshops, and assignments.  The TV workshops will provide you with Hands-On instruction in:

• TV Anchoring, News, Sports, or Entertainment Reporting
• Sports TV Broadcast training
• Teleprompter Writing and Reading
• Research
• Writing for TV
• Streeters
• Live Hits
• Voice-Overs
• and Interviewing.
