In the Recording & Sound Design training program, YOU get to customize the program to fit YOUR goals. You can choose to create music and sounds in one of our TWO music recording studios (Music Recording Studio A and Music Recording Studio C), or perhaps you’re more interested in learning how to design the sounds used in today‘s exciting film and television industry in our Post Production Audio recording studio (Audio Recording Studio B).

At the completion of Columbia Academy's 11-month Recording & Sound Design training program, you'll be skilled in the entire studio recording process.

Depending on the program stream you select, your training will include pre-production, tracking, overdubbing, editing, mixing & mastering for music recording or post production audio for film and television.

During your program, you'll acquire the skills and techniques necessary to work in many audio recording and sound design positions, including:
